CEO
Addie Hamilton, widely known as “AddieStacks,” is a dynamic teen advocate, athlete, and future medical professional hailing from Long Island. A rising star both on and off the basketball court, Addie has dedicated her life to raising awareness about mental health and finding innovative solutions to support individuals navigating the complexities of emotional well-being.
Inspired by her personal experiences with grief after the loss of her grandmother to cancer, Addie founded the AddieStacks Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to empowering teens and young adults to prioritize their mental health. The foundation provides resources, community outreach programs, and advocacy initiatives designed to offer hope, healing, and resilience. Addie’s vision includes creating physical spaces where individuals can receive mental health support and feel seen during life’s toughest moments.
In addition to her work with her foundation, Addie serves as a teen advocate for InnerCalm Wellness, promoting awareness about Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy for teenagers. As an ambassador for TMS, Addie is passionate about educating teens and their families about this FDA-cleared treatment for depression, OCD, and anxiety. She actively works to reduce stigma and ensure that young people struggling with mental health challenges know that effective, innovative treatment options are available.
As a teen advocate, Addie has taken her passion for mental health a step further by delving into the science behind it. Fascinated by neuroscience, she is centering her foundation’s mission around brain mapping and understanding neural pathways to address mental illnesses like depression and anxiety. Addie believes that advancing our understanding of the brain is critical to unlocking effective treatments and combating stigma.
Addie is preparing for her next chapter as she embarks on her pre-med journey, with her sights set on medical school. Her goal is to merge her advocacy work with a deep scientific understanding of the brain, enabling her to revolutionize mental health care. Her interest in neuropsychiatry and brain research aligns seamlessly with her foundation’s mission, positioning her as a leader in the next generation of mental health advocates and medical professionals.
Addie is not only a dedicated mental health advocate but also an accomplished athlete. She currently plays for the Kellenberg Memorial High School Varsity Basketball Team, where she exemplifies resilience, teamwork, and determination. These qualities translate into every aspect of her life, further fueling her drive to support others and lead by example.
Addie’s belief in the healing power of faith and spirituality inspires her to encourage others to find strength in their personal beliefs during times of struggle. She is steadfast in her commitment to walking alongside those facing mental health challenges, reminding them they are not alone.
Addie’s story is a testament to the power of turning personal pain into purpose. She embodies resilience and hope, making her not only an advocate for mental health but also a trailblazer in integrating science, advocacy, and compassion into the field.
