The vision of the Addiestacks Foundation is to empower and support teenagers as they navigate the challenges of mental health, specifically anxiety and depression. We aim to provide resources and support for building resilience and coping with adversity, with a focus on promoting mental health in sports. Our goal is to create a center that provides a safe and welcoming environment for teens to access the information, resources and support they need to improve their mental well-being. Additionally, we strive to break the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage open and honest conversations about mental health among teens and their communities. We want to be a beacon of hope for teens and their families, and to be a leading organization in promoting mental health and well-being among teenagers.
The impact of the Addiestacks Foundation is to improve the mental health and well-being of teenagers, specifically those dealing with anxiety and depression. By providing resources and support through our resilience academy and center, we aim to empower teens to build resilience, cope with adversity and navigate the challenges of mental health. We believe that by promoting mental health in sports, we can help teens develop a healthy relationship with their bodies and minds and build a strong sense of self-worth and self-esteem.
Our goal is to create a lasting impact on the lives of teens by providing them with the tools and resources they need to thrive, not just survive. We hope to create a ripple effect, where the teens we support go on to support others in their lives, and become leaders in promoting mental health in their communities. Additionally, by raising awareness and breaking the stigma surrounding mental health, we aim to create a more compassionate and understanding society for all.

It’s a temporary emotion and we must constantly be reminded of that”.

AddieStacks goes to a private Catholic school in Long Island and has turned her attention to pray and getting closer to G-d when she feels emotions arise that are triggering factors that stem from just being a teen. “Everytime I get on the court, I pray to G-d, when I’m going through something with friends, I turn to prayer. It’s what I know that helps me and I know G-d always shows up for me, and I never feel alone. We need to turn more to our faith when we suffer from mental health, and that’s what I am here for, to remind each and every one of you, you are not alone. I will walk with you and fight the battle of Mental Health.
It’s a temporary emotion and we must constantly be reminded of that”.
